Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

GORD 3D excels in providing cutting-edge Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology, also known as fused filament fabrication (FFF), as part of its comprehensive additive manufacturing solutions. Operating within the realm of material extrusion, FDM constructs parts layer by layer by selectively depositing melted material along a predetermined path. This technology utilizes thermoplastic polymers in filament form to craft the final physical objects. GORD 3D leverages The Original Prusa MK4, the latest version of award-winning 3D printers, to enable FDM technology. This upgraded printer features a new Super PINDA probe for enhanced first layer calibration, improved bearings, and various design tweaks for easier assembly and maintenance. The MK3S+ retains all the proven features of its predecessors, including the heatbed with removable PEI spring steel print sheets, automatic Mesh Bed Leveling, filament sensor, power loss recovery (power panic), and safety measures, ensuring a seamless and efficient FDM printing process.
